As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made more than 500 useful non-botlike edits, and to have been active in the last thirty days. Patrollers and License reviewers don't have to request this flag. Find possible candidates.
je souhaite pouvoir télécharger une version mise à jour des membres de File:World Trade Organization Members.svg fichier auquel j'ai déjà contribué Thank you. Kyat02 (talk) 18:39, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bonjour, J'ai activé l'écrasement de ce fichier. Malheureusement, 57 est trop bas et je ne peux donc pas vous l'accorder pour le moment (via goggle translate). Abzeronow (talk) 18:58, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am always uploading and vectorizing flag files that use raster graphics. I usually improve the Portuguese Wikipedia which has very few volunteers dedicated to the vexilology and heraldry part of Wikicommons. I am requesting autopatrol rights because I also want to fix broken/bad .svg files by uploading new versions of them instead of creating new files and replacing the old one's usage manually. Thank you. Feitidede (talk) 05:41, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, 100 is still too low, although it is better than when you requested this last month. I need at least 250 edits from you (500 is what the guideline says). You can make individual requests at COM:OWR in the meantime. Abzeronow (talk) 15:54, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In the meantime, I have so many entries on my watchlist that fixing broken stuff happens more regularly ^^. Which does not always work without autopatrolled, see also [1]. Please add Autopatrolled as suggested. Thank you.
As I participate to Commons:Graphic_Lab/Map_workshop (and other Graphic Lab sub-lists, it will be great if I can directly overwrite existing image files.
Note2: is it not possible to directly notify requesting user, rather than asking him to regularly peek status here (see probably outdated banner above – in this current page Commons:Requests for rights –)
At over 200 uploads and over 4000 edits here with over 600 actions in the last 30 days, I also think I have enough experience. Thank you, —Uzume (talk) 19:42, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I would like to have access to the AutoWikiBrowser tool here to make small improvements to the descriptions of files I upload. For a long time this tool was completely useless to me, considering that VisualFileChange already works in a practically identical way, but after having an experience with AWB on the English Wikipedia and Wiktionary, I noticed that it is more practical, safer and therefore better. Thank you, RodRabelo7 (talk) 08:46, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am the coordinator of a running campaign Wiki Loves Onam 2024. The page is now editable for template editors. In the coming days I need to modify the page and some related templates. I am experienced person in editing templates and modules. I am a bureaucrat in Malayalam Wikipedia. Please grant this right to me. Thank you. Ranjithsiji (talk) 17:48, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As a rough guideline, administrators usually require editors to have made at least 1,000 useful, non-botlike edits or a large amount of justified renaming requests at Commons before they will consider granting the filemover right.
Hello, I regularly participate in Commons and often encounter technical issues with file names, for example, "File:LMC 20240524 192031 Color tone rttg .PORTRAIT.jpg." The renaming process takes considerable time, and although I’ve uploaded over 1.5K files, many still need to be renamed. I believe having the right to rename files directly would greatly improve my workflow. Thank you. Owais Al Qarni (talk) 02:17, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Owais Al Qarni, I am willing to keep this request open and would want you to file some rename requests in line with the file renaming policy to demonstrate your knowledge of the subject. There's no experience shown. Regards, Aafi (talk)07:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Owais Al Qarni, requests made manually like this aren't filtered. It is always recommended to use the "Move" button to request a rename, through RenameLink. I will still keep this request open to see if there are any concerns from others. Regards, Aafi (talk)12:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
